Building & Leading Teams

Recruited, hired, onboarded, and managed a 12-person remote healthcare VA team across scheduling, patient access, insurance, and revenue cycle — my own VA operation, built from zero.

Call Flow & Phone Systems

Designed and built the entire phone tree in Vonage and redesigned inbound call handling — cutting abandoned calls by 60% within 90 days, no added headcount.

Built SOPs, training curricula, and task systems from scratch using Lean principles — a scalable, repeatable operating model standardized across two clinic locations.

Revenue Cycle Management

Owned end-to-end RCM — eligibility verification, prior authorizations, referral coordination, clean claims — reducing turnaround times and protecting revenue integrity.

Patient Access & CCM

Ran patient scheduling and access for 50+ patients daily and built Chronic Care Management workflows supporting continuity of care and CMS reimbursement.

The approach

I didn't just work in a clinic's back office — I built one. From a single VA role, I grew into the person who designed the whole operation: the team, the phone tree, the workflows, the way care quietly succeeds or fails behind the scenes.

I started at Hillside Primary Care as a healthcare VA — scheduling, calls, insurance, EHR. That role became the foundation for something much bigger. At Arrae Health, I became the sole remote operator running multi-site clinic operations, and I built my own VA team to do it: I recruited, hired, and trained a 12-person remote workforce, creating a real services operation for my clients from the ground up.

I rebuilt the phone system in Vonage from scratch — designing the full call tree — and redesigned scheduling workflows that cut abandoned calls by 60% in 90 days. I wrote the SOPs, built the training, set up the KPI reporting, and ran Chronic Care Management programs. I handled 50+ patients a day while managing the team that handled thousands more.

I came up through practices that valued holistic, root-cause care, and that shaped how I see operations: every workflow I design is ultimately a patient-advocacy decision. I bring extreme ownership, Lean process thinking, and a founder's instinct for building things that scale — because I've actually built one.
